Have or have got?

Have got means exactly the same as have in affirmative clauses. Got-forms of have are informal, and are most common in the present.

She has got a new boyfriend. (= She has a new boyfriend.)
My mother has got two sisters. (= My mother has two sisters.)
They have got a car. (= They have a car.)

Differences

In questions and negatives, we do not normally use have without got.

Has your sister got a car? (More natural than Has your sister a car.)
I haven’t got your keys. (More natural than I haven’t your keys.)

Savant Syndrome- My opinion

I speculate Savant Syndrome is a gradient of exchange in which a receptive candidate opens up a vacant part of himself to ideas–a form of canalization that deepens and widens over time. The passage of information flows freely, uninterrupted by configurations of brain wave patterns that transpose higher-level thinking into constructs that configure themselves to the mechanism in place. In other words, savant syndrome is a free flowing river without the tributaries. The source of the information can be thought of as the ocean of the mind where all information is available. Random thoughts proliferate in a disorganized fashion, attuning to the frequency of the individual being used for expression. An open channel or receptivity occurs.

Many UFO researchers—including nearly all the well-known ones—have never seen a UFO. Perhaps this fact makes them more impartial than those of us who have seen UFOs. Personally, I don’t think your experiences or lack thereof determine the quality of your research. Some people who’ve seen UFOs themselves want to label every light in the sky an alien spacecraft. Some people who’ve never seen a UFO brush off every witness who claims to have seen something extraordinary as a liar or fruitcake.
